Progress does not happen by accident. I believe Little Rock is strongest when every neighborhood has the opportunity to succeed. As the daughter of a teacher and a preacher, I was raised right here in Western Hills and Westwood on a simple promise: leave everyone you meet better than how you found them. For two decades, I’ve put that servant leadership into action—helping hundreds of Ward 7 families buy homes, serving on our Land Bank Commission to turn blighted properties into housing, and advocating for environmental justice. Now, as I raise my three children here, I’m running because the neighborhoods that have waited the longest for basic investments—like safe streets, drainage, and sidewalks—should not have to wait any longer. I know our budget, I know our policies, and I am ready to ensure resources are distributed equitably across every ZIP code.
As I talk with people across our community, one issue comes up time and time again: the clear need for affordable housing. If you elect me, I am committed to tackling this challenge head-on. My focus is simple and direct: we must create real opportunities for builders to build, and we must make it possible for first-time buyers to purchase affordable homes of their own. Buying a first home is a milestone that should be within reach for everyone who wants to plant roots here. By supporting our builders and focusing on those first-time homebuyers, we can build a stronger, more stable community together. I am ready to do the hard work to make this a reality for our families.
